Afghan skipper Mohammad Nabi used auto-trolling in the recently concluded press conference after the Asian minnows hammered Scotland in their 2021 ICC World T20 match on Monday. Leaders Najibullah Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai played scintillating shots to help Afghanistan beat Scotland in the ICC T20 World Cup game No.17 underway at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Nabi pulled off a bit of a Sarfaraz Ahmed when the captain of the Afghanistan T20I team entered the media room after Sharjah’s one-sided contest. Nabi stressed that answering journalists in the press is the most difficult job according to him. “Sabse mushkil kaam hai bhai yeh [This is the most difficult job to do]Nabi said while preparing for the press conference. “Does Kitne have any questions? [How many questions are there]”Nabi asked before the media interaction began.” 5 minutes mei meri English khatam ho jayegi bhai [My English will be over in 5 minutes],” he added.

Speaking of the game, the power hitters scripted Nabi and Co.’s famous victory as Afghanistan recorded a massive victory over Scotland. First defeating the team led by Kyle Coetzer, forerunners Zazai and Mohammad Shahzad joined forces by taking the Scottish bowlers to the cleaners. While Shahzad scored 15 22 balls, Zazai made a crucial 44 of 30 ball shot against Scotland.

First batsman Gurbaz played with 46 crucial balls of 47 while Najibullah slammed a 59 winner to turn the draw into a high scoring contest. Riding on Najibullah’s winning stroke, Afghanistan managed to establish a massive 190-4 in the 20-out contest. Triggering a batting collapse for the European team, Mujeeb Ur Rahman managed a sensational five-wicket shot as Scotland folded for 60 on 10.2 overs. Rahman was also assisted by star man Rashid Khan who won four wickets in Afghanistan’s 130-point victory over Scotland in Sharjah.
