GSSSIETW to host ‘Prayag-2021’ inter-college festival tomorrow – Mysuru Today

Mysuru, November 25: – The MBA Department of GSSSIETW, Mysuru, is organizing tomorrow (November 26) an inter-collegiate festival “Prayag-2021”. The festival brings together students from various institutions in Mysuru and the surrounding area and provides them with a common platform to express their talent in a professional manner.

The winners receive attractive cash prizes and certificates. Prayag is an inter-collegiate festival held for undergraduates annually by the MBA Department of the GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru. The event consists of a fashion show, a simulated share exchange, chaos management, a quiz program, photographs and an advertising selfie.

Simulated Stock Trading is a game played to boost stock trading skills in real time. Dealing with chaos involves problem-solving skills among team members who analyze information, negotiate, and cooperate with each other. The situation will be given on the spot. The quiz competition is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge. The quiz has two rounds including the preliminary round and the final round.

The photography competition aims to discover unnoticed images around us. Successful photographs will communicate a visual narrative through excellent technical and creative skills. The theme of the photograph given on site and the photographs submitted for the competition must be captured within the campus. Ad-Selfie Contest creates an Ad-Selfie contest with the best chance of going viral on social media. The product will be delivered on site.

The registration process begins at 8:30 am, followed by the events and ends with a live band concert performed by “Lohar the Blacksmith”. Our campus is a green campus and no plastic of any kind is allowed inside campus premises. (SIR)
