Elon Musk owned SpaceX on Earth, pollution of the atmosphere and depletion of the ozone layer – JBJ News
SpaceX is an aircraft manufacturing company, rocket transport service provider, and communications company based in Hawthorne, California. Elon Musk founded SpaceX in 2002 with the goal of reducing rocket travel time so that Mars is habitable.
In 2008, SpaceX successfully launched Falcon 1 after three failed attempts. It was the first liquid-fueled commercial spacecraft to orbit the International Space Station. Later the previous year, SpaceX secured a $ 1.6 billion deal for 12 missions of its Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station as part of the Commercial Resupply Services program.
What effect do rocket launches have on the ozone layer?
The ozone layer protects the environment by acting as a shield. Ozone is effective in trapping ultraviolet radiation, often called UV light, which can break down the protective layer of organisms, such as the skin, and damage the genomic DNA of living organisms.
Elon Musk’s rocket company SpaceX sparked controversy in 2017 when it launched more spaceships than Russia. He also dug a hole in the magnetosphere. Scientists have discovered that the company’s Falcon 9 rocket, launched on August 24, tore a 560-mile-wide crater in the earth’s crust. With the intention of building a “mega constellation” of thousands of 30,000 small spacecraft, SpaceX has worked hard to build the world’s largest satellite Internet constellation.
Each time a rocket takes off, it generates a cloud of emissions in its path that drastically pollutes the environment. These rashes include components that can build up in the air over time, eventually causing harmful changes in the environment. Carbon black (mostly soot), along with alumina particles and chlorine-based chemicals, are emitted from these rockets. All three forms of emissions, especially when pumped directly into the stratosphere, can cause ozone depletion reactions. The Falcon 9 rocket launched in August 2017 created a 900 kilometer wide “hole” in the ionosphere. When the rocket left Earth, it set off a massive explosion that propelled particles of plasma. It was the largest example of a rocket unleashing such atmospheric turbulence, although the launch only lasted a few hours.
