Batting legends Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara reunite as heartwarming video goes viral

In a nostalgic moment for cricket fans everywhere, two of cricket’s greatest heroes of their generation have met again. Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara met on the eve of the India Legends vs West Indies Legends clash in Road Safety World Series 2022. WI-L captain Brian Lara took time out of his training session to enter the locker room of India Legends and met the players, some of whom are his close friends.

Lara also met his fiercest rival on the pitch during their playing days, which is Sachin Tendulkar. But not to forget, Tendulkar and Lara were also best friends. Lara had missed the first match of the West Indies Legends and his team will benefit a lot after his arrival.

Indian Legends take on West Indies Legends tonight

He arrived in Kanpur on Monday and would be looking to help West Indies Legends beat India Legends tonight (September 14). Even without Lara, the West Indies team was able to beat Bangladesh Legends by 9 wickets. They will look to do the same with Sachin Tendulkar’s India tonight.

India Legends make a winning start to the campaign

On the other hand, India Legends had started their competition a few days ago with a superb victory over South Africa Legends, managed by Jonty Rhodes. India had posted a full game in this game to beat SA Legends by 61 points. It was a brilliant spectacle of hitting, defending and bowling by Indian players.

Fans would look forward to a good show from Sachin Tendulkar. He may be on the other side of 40 now, but the cricketer champion can still pull off those cover drives and straight drives. Another thing that stands out is his competitive spirit. It was through their passion for winning that India Legends won the inaugural edition of the league last year. Tendulkar would also be aiming for his second consecutive trophy this year.
